	Ohio's Missing Votes: The Triad Factor In the 41 Triad counties the Kerry vote was 0.95% less than Gore's vote, whereas in the other 47 counties Kerry averaged 2.51% more than Gore. If the Triad counties had given Kerry the same percent as non-Triad counties, then he would have 48,746 more votes than recorded. Adjusting for the exit poll discrepancy as well, gives Kerry 143,412 more votes in the Triad counties, more than enough to win Ohio.

Dan Hamburg was a California congressman in the early 1990s. He and his wife have been part of a group watching the latest developments in the Ohio recount. Columbus police arrested Hamburg and his wife, Carrie, Wednesday for trespassing after refusing to leave a private downtown building that houses the secretary's office.

	9/11 Phone Calls FBI Says It Never Made Recently revealed documents, show that the FBI may have been a few phone calls away from the 9/11 plot in late August 2001. The FBI is a client of ChoicePoint, and for information on people it seeks, regularly taps the largest U.S. database of public records on individuals . In late August 2001, the FBI had an investigation underway into two of the men who turned up on 9/11 as hijackers. ChoicePoint had up-to-date telephone listings for both men.
