As a community activist, I have probably been some kind of
dissident most of my life -
deprogramming yourself from social myths is something that requires
laying a lot of previous groundwork.

I have experience of dealing with
IV drug users in my own
community and their HIV issues.

I am 44 years old, born in Dublin
Ireland in 1955. I have six sisters,
one brother, a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. They span the globe from Ireland to USA.

For 43 years I lived in Dublin, but
in 1999 I ventured further afield,
first to Bunclody in South-East
Ireland then I ended up in Florida
on the last day of 1999.

I am determined to bring an end
to the Aids myths.

I am Irish, now aged 44.
I have been a journalist,
a philosopher, performance poet, writer, musician, computer guru, politician, businessman, scientist, investment analyst, salesman,
friend to the terminally bewildered, well-off, an inveterate reader,
destitute, born-again, a columnist,
an incurable campaigner, crazy and
simultaneously strikingly sane.
But not necessarily in that order!

Besides the AIDS myth, much
of what is regarded as truth
is mere propaganda.
But AIDS plays a key part in the
current social control mechanism.

I came to the issue with an
open mind - it didn't take long to
see through orthodox pseudoscience.

It won't take the world long either.
