or is he just going Eckhart/Oprah?

What's the feeling here on Tolle?

IMO he can be spot on, nonsensical, sensible,
or creepy, sometimes all at once.

Sometimes Carrey sounds almost like 'TreeI' here,
sometimes more like Madonna. Take what you need
and leave the rest.

I like this one better:

"...are you aware that your intention created this evening...this entire event is happening inside you?

Laughing Laughing Laughing

"It's a trip man!...I am the Super Bowl!"

"Why did I get such a crappy seat?"

Due to the requirement of the "other" to allow us to interpret the subjective nature of our reality, the newly awakened often mistake the "other" as the potential source of their needs.

Your answers are within you, much as are your questions.

Yes...butt...

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Sorry Peter.
I imagined you to be the first to respond, you did.
Shocked

Okay no more poop jokes.

My answers are within me, but how could I know
that without you or (insert human being) telling
me? Chicken/Egg?

Airplane!.... I left the theatre with my sides hurting from having laughed so much. Ace Ventura, not so much.

We take from our experiences what we need, that is why we encounter them. You learn what is within in you by exposing it. You bring it out, into the light of day, by expressing it and, yes, sometimes it is really shitty (more a poop allusion than joke, sorry about that Embarassed ).

Talking to oneself would seem adequate but it is only when the "other" responds that we benefit from the knowledge of self. The stuff you hear about "conscious co-creation" is really all about the subtle alteration of your essence, contained within the response to your offering. The "other's" perspective gives you the triangulation needed to exactly identify the nature of your own particular position.

I've only scanned a few Tolle books, but it's enough to see he is speaking to a general audience, generally.

Almaas has WAY better and deeper and more wise methods and teachings.
