UNDER THE VELVET GLOVE IS.....

by Fintan Dunne, BreakForNews.com, 26th October 2006

If anybody can disabuse you of wild notions you may have accidentally developed
about the forthcoming Democratic control of Congress, Nancy Pelosi can.

Nancy has famously hit the headlines already, with a typical finger-wagging
warning that as the likely Democratic Speaker, she intends to "clean House".

Next time she points that finger, someone should tell her where to stick it.

Nancy's idea of cleaning House does not involve an iota of rollback on
the booming U.S. military budget. It involves more spending. According
to Nancy, the Bush administration isn't spending enough money.

She backed a call by a defense experts panel which maintains the US Army
has no effective combat-ready, strategic reserve, because there isn't
sufficient military funding. Pelosi back the group, saying: "this failure to
maintain military readiness is unacceptable and dangerous."

Pelosi has also opposed every congressional efforts to set any date for
the withdraw of US troops from Iraq, and supports full funding
for the continuing occupation.

And it isn't just on Iraq that Pelosi's velvet glove packs an iron fist. When
Amnesty International harshly criticized Israel's heavy-handed re-invasion
of the Occupied Territories in October 2002, Pelosi backed Tom Delay's
resolution
in support of Israel.

Despite being so at one with Delay and Bush, the velvet-gloved Pelosi is
more predicatbly aligned with the Democratic/NATO wing of the New World
Order. Along with Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid she organized several
meetings
between Democratic aides and a group of national-security
experts which included former Gen. Wesley Clark, the ex-NATO supreme
allied commander who bloodied his hands in NATO's Yugoslavia campaign.

The iron fist side of the NWO is represented by Bush, the GOP and the
US military industrial establishment. These are the kick-ass dudes who
go in to "pacify" countries requiring strategic occupation. Countries like
Afghanistan and Iraq, for example.

The velvet glove is the Democrats, the EU and NATO, who move in after
the initial carnage has kiled enough people. Their occupation is redefined
as a "peacekeeping mission."

The same pattern is on the cards for Iraq. The latest hand-wringing over
the situation there is part of the groundwork for the deployment of the
velvet glove for Iraq. One which packs exactly the same imperial punch.

And how close is Pelosi to all this?

The trail starts here, at the G8 summits:

Quote:
Jerry Fletcher:

Quote:
Discussions of the heads of state and government are held behind closed doors,
with G8 Sherpas (personal representatives of leaders) being the only outsiders.
Decisions are adopted on the principle of consensus.

Ok - does anybody else find something odd about this? Uh, Sherpa? Hello? WTF?

...Our sherpa friend SITS IN ON THE F*CKING SUMMIT MEETING! Sure, I can read global
conspiracy into a grocery receipt, but I found this fact to be rather astounding.

I mean, the eight apparently most powerful human beings on earth go into a heavily guarded,
private, locked room to discuss the future of the world ... along with eight other dudes that
you've never heard of
. Anybody? Odd? Uh.. Security Clearance Sherpa?

http://breakfornews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=753&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15#7333

These Sherpas are personal representatives of the G8 leaders. At the
1998 summit in St. Petersburg, William J. Clinton's "Sherpa" was a guy
called James B. Steinberg, of the Brookings Institute.

Clearly a very, very, very well connected dude. The G8 summits are the
place where all the recent world events since 10th Sept. 2001 were hatched.

And the trail of Sherpa Steinberg can be picked up again here:

Quote:
Hawkwind:

"The Leaders’ National Security Advisory Group, commissioned by Senate Democratic Leader Reid and House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi to provide advice to Congress on long-term national security challenges, is chaired by former Defense Secretary William J. Perry.

Its members include: Michele A. Flournoy, Madeleine K. Albright, Graham T. Allison, Samuel R. Berger, Ashton B. Carter, Wesley K. Clark, Thomas E. Donilon, John D. Podesta, Susan E. Rice, John M. Shalikashvili, Wendy R. Sherman, Elizabeth D. Sherwood-Randall, and James B. Steinberg."
Link

Had I got off my ass sooner, I would have posted the now completely deleted links to their little war games at the aspeninstitute.org ...

These people travel in very small/incestuous circles ... lets all welcome the Democrats? Fuck me ....

http://www.breakfornews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1096

Yep. That's the same National Security Advisory Group, and the same
James B. Steinberg whom I mentioned earlier. The group which Pelosi
had backed when they called for more money for a combat-ready reserve.
A group which she and Reid had set up in the first place.

So don't expect any change from the pre-planned gameplan.

When you get down to it, Pelosi is less than one degree of separation away
from the G8 power complex that is the source of all our problems.

Pelosi represents the Left? Yeah......

Slightly to the left of Ghengis Khan.

Activists Demand Pelosi Defund Iraq War, Support Impeachment

by Jeff Paterson, Not in Our Name

San Francisco (January 15, 2006) – Anti-War activists pressed local congresswoman Nancy Pelosi on her continued support of the Iraq War by way of continued funding for the illegal, unjust occupation – despite her public criticisms of the war.

Before the event even began, members of CODEPINK, College Not Combat, Not in Our Name and others picketed outside the Marina Middle School “town hall meeting.” Following Pelosi’s presentation members of CODEPINK made their way to the front of the hall were they were joined by dozens of other anti-war activists.

Understanding American Rhetoric

IRON FINGER (Upyoursicus Maximus)

VELVET FINGER (Touchifeelicus petitecus)

American politicians aren't as stupid as they look. Working in unison toward the hidden agendas while appearing to be opposed to one another requires the genius of the greatest big con artists and illusionists worthy of Machiavelli. These people are professional grifters from a long line of professional grifters.

*sigh*....I can't keep up with the lies...

ROTFLMAO! Laughing

For those not fully up to speed on all this, the following mainstream news
article should help.

I mean, now we can clearly see the how the velvet Pelosi/NATO crew
are the same bunch as the iron Bush/Pentagon crew....

we might as well complete the picture by adding Vladimir Putin to Ormond's
list of "professional grifters". See the red highlights below.

Quote:

NATO secretary-general to meet with Bush

WASHINGTON --NATO Secretary-General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, fresh from a visit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, is in Washington for talks about matters including the NATO chief's wish for closer relations between the alliance and Russia.

De Hoop Scheffer said he wanted to deepen the relationship between Moscow and NATO because of Russia's importance to solving many conflicts. "Russia's active participation for the solution of many conflicts is essential," de Hoop Scheffer told Putin.

Russia signed a partnership agreement with NATO in 2002, outlining cooperation in counterterror, nonproliferation, peacekeeping and other fields. At the same time Putin's government has continued to make public his opposition to the alliance's eastward expansion.

http://www.boston.com/news/world/europe/articles/2006/10/27/nato_secretary_general_to_meet_with_bush/

Russia signed a partnership deal with NATO, while publicly Putin is
making a lot of hot air about opposing NATO's eastward expansion, eh?

Like having your cake and eating it.

Except it isn't your cake any more --it's theirs.

Bush-Pentagon-Pelosi-NATO-Putin.

From Pelosi on the West Coast to Bush in the Oval Office on the East Coast,
via Tony Blair to Angela Merkel, Chirac and the EU et. al. and then on
eastwards to Putin.

From Anchorage, east to Vladivistok. The G8 NWO.

The 'One Party Two Party' system is rather like what things might have been like back in the Roman Empire days--if they'd had television.

The Global 'Opposing Supernations' apparancey is based on the same grift. Pull away the curtain and we see the UberGrifters working together, since the intelligence/totalitarian systems of East and West developed during the 20th century are now mirror images of each other.
That's not conicendental. All they have to do is cooperate for one hidden agenda--and they can indeed manage global order under the auspices of what we see as G-8.

Back in the US:

From Pelosi's own official web site, here's the blurb for the Democrat angle:

Quote:
AMERICA: THE NEW DIRECTION

Democrats are united in presenting a New Direction for America, one that will make our nation as strong as its people, one that brings opportunity, security, and prosperity to all Americans.

Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi

Okay. We're all for a 'new direction'. What is it?

Quote:
The first responsibility of our government is the security of every American. In this era of unprecedented and unpredictable challenge, we must be prepared for any threat. Real Security will rebuild our military; equip and train our first responders and others on the front lines here at home; provide needed benefits to our troops and veterans; fully man and equip our National Guard; promote alternative fuels and reduce dependence on foreign oil; and, restore Americans' confidence in their government's ability to respond in the face of a terrorist attack or natural disaster. ~ Pelosi's web site

What? Geeze, that sounds a lot like the 'old direction', 'stay the course'.

To those who know, this is pure rhetoric. The keywords of this 'new direction' of Democrats will show up on all of their websites and in all of their speeches...

"Homeland Security". "Threat of terrorism". But the US public's perceptual between these 'adversaries' and their Republican brothers and sisters has to do with Republicans letting things like public education and health care fall completely apart (which is the setup to hand it over to the return of Democrats).

What happens every time when the Dems come back to pick up the thread, they get to meddling in education and health care again---and that's where I predict we'll see the the National ID cards, mandatory mental 'evaluations' for all citizens, and possibly even chipping come up under the Dems as the hidden agenda.

Dems merely push through the things that don't work convincingly through the Republican frame. Republicans are expected to loot the treasury and throw bombs around overseas, Democrats are expected to meddle in our personal lives. Together they're a nemisis and canker sore on the American landscape (latter remark borrowed from Hunter Thompson in a 1988 editorial in the Rocky Mountain News. No web reference available, just recall very well reading it at the time. "Canker sore on the American landscape is just so apt.)

You are absolutely correct. These so called liberals show their true colors, not on minority American citizens, they know that is politically incorrect and damaging to their bullshit fake liberal confidence game. But when it comes to Arabs, and other third world minorities, these people are all alike. Remember the Lebanon invasion; these liberals were jumping all over themselves to kiss the butt of the Zionist. Nancy Pelosi led the charge in defending the Nazi like Zionists. I also remember she and the other liberals jumping all over Maliki the Iraq strongman because he denounced the Israeli invasion.

Ormond,

Reduce our dependence on foreign oil Laughing You are correct. We could also reduce our dependence on Cheap Communist China Labor Shocked

The republicats in what seems like forever have been in Washington DC. How much longer before Sovereigns wake up to the fact that its good cop / bad cop?

Have you seen any politician anywhere advocating Sovereigns buy from their fellow Sovereigns? Chinese buy from Chinese, US buy from US, Mexico buy from Mexico.

The G8 are Globalizing the world and Sovereigns pretend it is the politicians who are forcing us to buy foreign goods!!!???
If the G8 seek to destroy US Jobs by making crappy products then if US Sovereigns would stop shopping how long before US Jobs would move back to the US??

The G8 can't fuck us without our help...and if they try to do so its rape. Of course that would require we stop lying to ourselves instead of whining that its GWBush doing the lying.

Nothing Hitler did in Nazi Germany was illegal !

So who was lying? Hilter or the German people who once he lost suddenly knew nothing...nothing.

If Hitler had won, Germans would still be gassing us.

Today, the G8 is bringing the lies we tell into global policy.

We don't have to stop believing the lies. We need to stop telling them.

Propaganda gives cover to liars.

Stop the propaganda by stop the lying.

Fortunately, break for news is exposing the lies we tell ourselves.

Oh, that is so APT! I'm writing that down to use as a 'talking point' to all my bozo partisan acquaintances.

File it under W.W.W.T.P. (What's Wrong With This Picture)

They (or the media) won't touch the thought of returning industry to the US--there's no grift in that for them. So it just never gets addressed...not since Ross Perot in '92 did anybody mention that in public. And Perot was just giving lip service, as the public still was concerned about it at that time. Now it's like nobody gives of flyin' fark, long as they can buy Chinese drill bits or DVD players cheap as dirt. Thing is, that stuff isn't going to stay cheap. (though it will still break just as easily).

'Reducing dependence on foreign oil' -- they like that one, since they've got a grift prepared for that. See, EXXON makes a bundle off selling OPEC oil here and leaving ours in the ground. They make MORE profit doing it with that shell game. In reality, we are 'dependent' on OPEC because OPEC is belly to butt with US and UK Big Oil. It's EXXON the tells OPEC how much to pump. It's another 'controlled opposition' Hegelian dialectic.
Word in Houston is there's plenty of Texas oil sitting under idled derricks all through this decade, and they've just found a new motherload in the Gulf.
And they aren't going to touch it as long as OPEC can be the excuse for high cost.

No, when they say 'reducing dependence', they mean taxing it and selling it as such high cost that we'll use less of it. They'll still get their 40% annual hike in revenues. They'll just keep driving the price up. If not with raw price hikes, with slapping on a few more buck a gallon in tax.

That's right--but even that bias is very selective. What's left out of media is that they are as tight with the Saudi Royals as they are with the Knesset--and Israel never says a word in complaint. They don't want us to notice that. You don't see the Israeli air force blasting Saudi Arabia or Kuwait with white phospherous bunker bombs.
And the Bin Laudin family has been tight with the Bush family for decades...they flew 100 of them out of the US quietly under US fighter escort right after 911.
File it under W.W.W.T.P.

Oh, what a tangled web we weave!
