Surprise, surprise. Guess who has their stubby little fingers in Turkish affairs? The 15 July 2016 coup d'état attempt in Turkey may not be what it seems. Israel may have helped Erdogan to stage a fake coup. The coup may have been designed to fail.

The man who reportedly organised the 'fake' coup, General Akin Öztürk, served as military attaché to Israel. According to Turkey's pro-government newspaper Taraf, the Turkish army's deputy chief of staff, Aslan Guner, bought wiretapping equipment in Israel in 2007. The IDF was using this equipment sold to Turkey in 2007 to listen in on Turkish citizens, including political activists, members of opposition parties and academics. According to the pro-government newspaper Taraf, the Turkish army's deputy chief of staff, Aslan Guner, purchased sophisticated wiretapping equipment in Israel in 2007 to aid Turkey in fighting the Kurdish PKK, which is considered a terror group by Turkey.

However, the newspaper claims the Israel Defense Forces communications branch has allegedly used the equipment to listen in on 2,000 Turkish citizens, including political activists, members of opposition parties and academics.

According to information Taraf received from a senior army officer, Turkey gave Israel technical details of the GSM, or Global System for Mobile Communications, used in Turkish cell phones, so it could conform the equipment to it. This information, according to the officer, allows Israel to listen in on the cell phone conversations of any Turkish citizen.

In response to the allegations, Guner, who at the time was also head of military intelligence, said that the equipment purchase had been authorized by the Turkish Defense Ministry and that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had also signed it.

Also June 2016, Turkey finalized a deal with Israel to normalize relations.

See: 'Israel uses wiretapping equipment it sold to Turkey on Turkish citizens'

If there had been a real coup, the plotters would have announced to the world that President Erdogan had been:
    :::: Rigging elections
    :::: Cosying up to Israel
:::: Accepting bribes from Saudi monarchists
:::: Peddling ISIS's stolen oil in partnership with his son and Barzani, the Kurdish strongman...

The 'fake' coup has allowed Erdogan to arrest more of his opponents.

2,745 judges across Turkey, viewed as opposed to Erdogan, have been dismissed.

Quote:
Immediately prior to the Obama regime plot to kill President Erdoğan relations between the Federation and Turkey had been shattered when on 24 November 2015 a defenseless Russian bomber was shot down over Syria by Turkish warplanes killing its pilot—but which, a fortnight ago, President Erdoğan apologized for in a personal letter to President Putin.

The Obama regime plot to kill President Erdoğan was first discovered seven months ago

Upon President Putin receiving President Erdoğan’s apology on 27 June, this report notes, the MoD “activated/authorized” its previous “personal defense” operation for Turkey’s leader activating an elite force of the 25th Spetsnaz Regiment of the Main Intelligence Administration (GRU).

Fearing that President Erdoğan would soon be protected by these elite Spetsnaz forces the Obama regime “accelerated” their coup plans against him—but failed to “understand/comprehend” that they had already formed a “proactive barrier” around him, his main communication links to his government, police forces and loyal media outlets.

In the Obama regimes failing to know that these elite Spetsnaz forces were already in “combat operation” protecting President Erdoğan the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) directed coup plotters began their attack on 15 July in the Turkish Riviera port town of Marmaris on the Mediterranean coast by attacking the Grand Yazici Club Turban where Turkey’s leader was vacationing.

The attack itself consisted of “at least” 8-10 CIA directed Turkish military troops landing a helicopter on the grounds of the Grand Yazici Club Turban, rushing towards what they believed was President Erdoğan’s private chateau, and then hurling grenades and automatic gunfire into it.

Not known to these attackers was that President Erdoğan’s elite Spetsnaz “protectors” had previously removed him to the Casa De Maris as they knew it was about to occur—and though the “furious battle” did cost the lives of many Turkish police forces, Turkey’s leader was saved from harm with these coup plotters fleeing in their helicopter across the sea straight to Greece—and who hours ago appeared before a Greek prosecutor with Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras vowing to extradite them back to Turkey.

In the aftermath of the Obama regimes failed coup against President Erdoğan over 6,000 have been detained as suspected coup plotters with the main CIA-directed leaders — Chief military adviser to the Turkish President Colonel Ali Yazici, Commander of Turkey's western Balikesir airbase Brigadier General Ishak Dayioglu, and General Akin Ozturk — all now in custody too.

Of the gravest concern is the control of the estimated 90 B61 gravity nuclear bombs (if you believe nuclear weapons work at all) at Turkey’s Incirlik Air Base. Fifty of these nuclear bombs are reportedly assigned for delivery by US pilots, and forty are assigned for delivery by the Turkish Air Force.

With the commander of the Incirlik Air Base, General Bekir Ercan Van, now in custody too US military forces have gone on their highest alert while local authorities have blocked all access to it — with no clear direction being shown by the Obama regime as to how they are going to respond to their “failed adventure”, or protect these nuclear weapons.

Media organisations such as Dogan, Hurriyet and others were still operating and putting out pro-Erdogan information, including updating their websites, long after they were supposedly seized by the coup plotters.

Erdogan being used to weaken and break up Turkey.

Ergün Poyraz, in his 2007 book Children of Moses, wrote that Turkey' Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and his wife, are crypto-Jews, who secretly work with Israeli intelligence. Erdogan has just been elected President of Turkey.

In 2007, Poyraz was arrested and eventually sentenced to 29 years in prison. Poyraz claims that Erdoğan came to power as part of a Zionist conspiracy devised by Turkey's JİTEM, a secret government intelligence unit. JİTEM is believed to be behind many bombings, attacks and assassinations, and is believed to be linked to Ergenekon, which was part of the CIA's Operation Gladio.

Turkish writer Ergün Poyraz, who had earlier said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has no actual higher education and as president he recived this education illegally, is found dead.

Poyraz organized an investigation that proved that Erdogan's diploma is a fake and he did not study at the university. Poyraz published the original version of Erdogan's diploma, which he allegedly wrote while studying at Marmara University. It turned out that the diploma is dated when the University of Marmara was not existent. It should be noted that the 4-year college education is mandatory for the election of the President of Turkey. Turkish party "Salvation of the people" on the basis of the investigation lead by Poyraz appealed to the court, stating that Erdogan presented a fake diploma to participate in the elections.

Poyraz soon began to face various difficulties in Turkey. Now, he was found dead.

Here is Pepes' latest article on the "Teflon Sultan"

Quote:
Hell Hath No Fury Like a Teflon Sultan

When Turkish President/aspiring Sultan Recep Tayyip Erdogan landed at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport early Saturday morning, he declared the attempted coup against his government a failure, and a “gift from God.”

God apparently uses Face Time. It was via that iconic iPhone footage from an undisclosed location shown live on CNN Turk by a bewildered female anchor that Erdogan managed to call his legion of followers to hit the streets, unleash People Power and defeat the military faction that had taken over state TV and proclaimed to be in charge.

So God does work in mysterious mobile ways. Erdogan’s call was heeded even by young Turks who had fiercely protested against him in Gezi Park; were tear-gassed or water-cannoned by his police; think the AKP governing party is disgusting; but would support them against a “fascist military coup.” Not to mention that virtually every mosque across Turkey relayed Erdogan’s call.

Ankara’s official version is that the coup was perpetrated by a small military faction remote-controlled by exiled-in-Pennsylvania cleric Fethullah Gulen, himself a CIA asset. As much as responsibility remains debatable, what’s clear is the coup was a Turk remix of The Three Stooges; the actual stooges in fact may have been the already detained 2nd Army Commander Gen. Adem Huduti; 3rd Army Commander Erdal Ozturk; and former Chief of Air Staff Akin Ozturk.

As over-excited former CIA ops were blaring on US networks – and they do know a thing or two about regime change — rule number one in a coup is to aim at, and isolate, the head of the snake. Yet the wily Turkish snake, in this case, was nowhere to be seen. Not to mention that no top generals sounding convincingly patriotic went on the TRT state network to fully explain the reasons for the coup.

(Erdogan) love is in the air

The coup plotters did aim at the intel services – whose top positions are at Istanbul’s airport, the presidential palace in Ankara and near the ministries. They used Cobra helicopters – with pilots trained in the US – against these targets. They also aimed at the army’s high command – which for the past 8 years is designated by Erdogan and is not trusted by many a mid-ranking officer.

As they occupied the Bosphorus bridges in Istanbul they seemed to be in touch with military police – which is spread out all over Turkey and have a solid esprit de corps. But in the end they did not have the numbers – and the necessary preparation. All key ministries seemed to be communicating among themselves as the plot developed, as well as the intel services. And as far as Turkish police as a whole is concerned, they are now a sort of AKP pretorian guard.

Meanwhile, Erdogan’s Gulfstream 4, flight number TK8456, took off from Bodrum’s airport at 1:43 A.M. and flew for hours over Turkey’s northwest with its transponder on, undisturbed. It was from the presidential plane, while still landed, that Erdogan had gone on Face Time, and then, on the air, managed to control the countercoup. The plane never left Turkish airspace – and was totally visible to civil and military radars. The coup plotters’ F-16s could have easily tracked and/or incinerated it. Instead they sent military choppers to bomb the presidential abode in Bodrum a long time after he had left the building.

The head of the snake must have been 100% sure that to board his plane and stay on Turkish airspace was as safe as eating a baklava. What’s even more startling is that the Gulfstream managed to land in Istanbul in absolute safety in the early hours of Saturday morning – despite the prevailing notion that the airport was occupied by the “rebels”.

In Ankara, the “rebels” used a mechanized division and two commandos. Around Istanbul there was a whole army; the 3rd command is actually integrated with NATO’s rapid reaction forces. They supplied the Leopards positioned in Istanbul’s key spots – which by the way did not open fire.

And yet the two key armies positioned in the Syrian and Iranian borders remained on “wait and see” mode. And then, at 2 A.M., the command of the also key 7th army based in Diyarbakir – in charge of fighting the PKK guerrillas – proclaimed his loyalty to Erdogan. That was the exact, crucial moment when Prime Minister Binali Yildırım announced a no-fly zone over Ankara.

That meant Erdogan controlled the skies. And the game was over. History does move in mysterious ways; the no-fly zone dreamed by Erdogan for so long over Aleppo or the Syrian-Turkish border in the end materialized over his own capital.

Round up the usual suspects

The US position was extremely ambiguous from the start. As the coup took over, the American embassy in Turkey called it "Turkish uprising". Secretary of State John Kerry, in Moscow to discuss Syria, also hedged his bets. NATO was royally mute. Only when it became clear the coup was in fact smashed President Obama and the “NATO allies” officially proclaimed their “support for the democratically elected government”.

The Sultan went back to the game with a vengeance. He immediately went live on CNN Turk demanding Washington hands over Gulen even without any evidence he masterminded the coup. And that came with an inbuilt threat; “If you want to keep access to Incirlik air base you will have to give me Gulen”. It’s hard not to be reminded of recent history – when the Cheney regime in 2001 demanded the Taliban hand Osama bin Laden over to the US without offering proof he was responsible for 9/11.

So the number one eyebrow-raising possibility is a go; Erdogan’s intel services knew a coup was brewing; and the wily Sultan let it happen knowing it would fail as the plotters had very limited support. He also arguably knew – in advance — even the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), whose members Erdogan is trying to expel from parliament, would support the government in the name of democracy.

Two extra facts add to the credibility of this hypothesis. Earlier last week Erdogan signed a bill giving soldiers immunity from prosecution while taking part in domestic security ops – as in anti-PKK; that spells out improved relations between the AKP government and the army. And then Turkey’s top judicial body HSYK laid off no less than 2,745 judges after an extraordinary meeting post-coup. This can only mean the list was more than ready in advance.

The major, immediate post-coup geopolitical consequence is that Erdogan now seems to have miraculously reconquered his “strategic depth” – as former, sidelined Prime Minister Davutoglu would have it. Not only externally – after the miserable collapse of both his Middle East and Kurdish “policies” – but also internally. For all practical purposes Erdogan now controls the Executive, the Legislative and the Judiciary – and is taking no prisoners to purge the military for good. Ladies and gentlemen, the Sultan is in da house.

This means the neo-Ottoman project is still on – but now under massive tactical reorientation. The real “enemy” now is Syrian Kurds – not Russia and Israel (and not ISIS/ISIL/Daesh; but they never were in the first place). Erdogan is going after the YPG, which for him is a mere extension of the PKK. His order of the day is to prevent by all means an autonomous state entity in northeast Syria – a "Kurdistan" set up like a second Israel supported by the US. For that he needs some sort of entente cordiale with Damascus – as in insisting that Syria must preserve its territorial integrity. And that also means, of course, renewed dialogue with Russia.

So what's the CIA been up to?

Needless to add Ankara and Washington are now on a certified collision course. If there is an Empire of Chaos hidden hand in the coup – no smoking gun yet — that certainly comes from the Beltway neocon/CIA axis, not the lame duck Obama administration. For the moment Erdogan’s leverage only amounts to access to Incirlik. But his paranoia is ballooning; for him Washington is doubly suspicious because they harbor Gulen and support the YPG.

Hell hath no fury as an underestimated Sultan as well. For all his recent geopolitical follies, Erdogan’s simultaneous ballet of reconnecting with Israel and Russia is eminently pragmatic. He knows he needs Russia for the Turkish Stream and to build nuclear plants; and he needs Israeli gas to consolidate Turkey’s role as a key East-West energy crossroads.

When we learn, crucially, that Iran supported Turkey's "brave defense of democracy", as tweeted by Foreign Minister Zarif, it’s clear how Erdogan, in a mater of only a few weeks, reconfigured the whole regional picture. And that spells out Eurasia integration and Turkey deeply connected to the New Silk Roads – not NATO. No wonder the Beltway – for whom, overwhelmingly, Erdogan is the proverbial “erratic and unreliable ally” — is freaking out. That dream of Turkish colonels under direct CIA orders is over – at least for the foreseeable future.

So what about Europe? Yildirim already said that Turkey might reinstate the death penalty – to be applied to the coup plotters. This means, in essence, bye bye EU. And bye bye to the European Parliament approving visa-free travel for Turks visiting Europe. Erdogan after all already got what he wanted from chancellor Merkel; those 6 billion euros to contain the refugee crisis that he essentially unleashed. Merkel bet the farm on Erdogan. Now she’s talking to herself – while the Sultan is able to dial God on Face Time.

Turkish President Erdogan says coup may not be over

Wed Jul 20, 2016 8:39PM

This “may not be end of the coup attempt, may be more plans” are yet to
come, said Erdogan during a live speech given from Ankara on Wednesday.

He also noted that foreign countries may have been involved in the attempt.

Interesting comment.

UPDATE: ERDOGAN BLAMES PLOT FOR RUSSIAN JET DOWNING

Erdogan here elaborates on his "foreign countries" in the plot.

He seems to be implying the CIA used Gullen moles to cause trouble
between Turkey and Russia by shooting down a Russian jet. But any
pilots would surely have had be backed by millitary command cover?

Quote:
Erdogan: Link Between Pilots Who Shot Down
Russian Su-24 and Gulen Movement

22:44 20.07.2016(updated 23:56 20.07.2016)

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has indicated that there could be
a link between the pilots who shot down a Russian jet last November and
the Gulen movement, blamed for last week's failed coup attempt, and
suggested that foreign countries may have been involved in the attempt,
as well.

"Two pilots who downed a Russian plane have been detained in connection
with the coup attempt. They could have links to Gulen organizatoin, but we
do not have clear evidence at this point, it will be established by the
court," Erdogan said in an interview with Al Jazeera.

Erdogan also suggested that there may have been foreign countries
involved in the coup attempt that left nearly 300 people and hundreds
more injured.....

Erdogan: Turkey ready to cooperate for peace with Iran, Russia

By Paul Antonopoulos - 20/07/201619

Tass News has reported that Turkish President Erdogan said in a telephone
conversation with his Iranian counterpart Rouhani that Turkey is wanting
to restore peace and stability in the immediate region in conjunction with
Russia and Iran.

“Today, we are determined more than ever before to contribute to the
solution of regional problems hand in hand with Iran and Russia and in
cooperation with them,” the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted
Erdogan as saying. “At present, the situation is getting back to normal but
it is too early to say that everything is over,” Erdogan continued.

In return, the Iranian president praised the pro-Erdogan supporters who
aggressively countered the military coup.

“Stability and tranquility in Turkey have a positive impact on the
atmosphere in the whole region. We have no doubt that tranquility in the
Islamic world countries does not suit terrorists and some superpowers
,”
the Iranian president stated.

Those comments Wednesday by Erdogan and Rouhani confirm
the geopolitical shifts outlined in the analysis by Pepe Escobar -
which is posted in full above by kiwikeith.

It was a coup initiated by the CIA acting through their primary asset inside Turkey, the networks of their fugitive Turkish asset Fethullah Gülen. When we examine more closely “what” is Fethullah Gülen he is anything but the grandfatherly image of a 75-year-old soft-spoken Islamic moderate, scholar and Imam. His networks have been called the most dangerous in Germany by Islamic experts and have been banned in several Central Asian countries. Now, too, in Turkey. What’s becoming clear is that the failed coup was in fact a dry-run, a dress rehearsal by Gülen’s controllers in Langley to see how Erdogan would react, in order to recalibrate and prepare for a more serious attempt in the future. Washington was not at all happy with the foreign policy turn of Erdoğan turning to reconcile with Russia and possibly also with Syria’s Assad.

Fethullah Gülen is not a “who” but, rather, it is a “what.” The what is one of the most extensive and elaborate surrogate warfare networks ever created by the United States intelligence community, spanning countless nations including the United States and Germany, as well as the historic Turkic regions of Central Asia from Turkey up to the Uyghur peoples of China’s oil-rich Xinjiang Autonomous Province.

Quote:
Gülen speech to his followers when he was still in Turkey in the 1990's:

"You must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers...You must wait for the time when you are complete and conditions are ripe, until we can shoulder the entire world and carry it...You must wait until such time as you have gotten all the state power...in Turkey...Until that time, any step taken would be too early—like breaking an egg without waiting the full forty days for it to hatch."
—Imam Fetullah Gülen, in a sermon to followers in Turkey

As they were deploying Osama bin Laden's Arab Mujahideen "holy warriors" into Chechnya and the Caucasus during the 1990s, the CIA, working with a network of self-styled "neo-conservatives" in Washington, began to build their most ambitious political Islam project ever.

It was called the Fethullah Gülen Movement, also known in Turkish as Cemaat, or "The Society." Their focus was Hizmet, or what they defined as the "duty of Service" to the Islamic community. Curiously enough, the Turkish movement was based out of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. There, its key figure, the reclusive Fethullah Gülen, was allegedly busy building a global network of Islam schools, businesses, and foundations, all with untraceable funds. His Gülen Movement, or Cemaat, has no main address, no mailbox, no official organizational registration, no central bank account, nothing. His followers never demonstrated for Sharia or Jihad—their operations were all hidden from view.

In 2008, US Government court filings estimated the global value of Gülen’s empire at anywhere between $25 and $50 billion. No one could prove how large as there were no independent audits. In a US Court testimony during the hearing on Gülen’s petition for a special US Green Card permanent residence status, one loyal Cemaat journalist described the nominal extent of Gülen’s empire:

The projects sponsored by Gülen-inspired followers today number in the thousands, span international borders and…include over 2000 schools and seven universities in more than ninety countries in five continents, two modern hospitals, the Zaman newspaper (now in both a Turkish and English edition), a television channel (Samanyolu), a radio channel (Burc FM), CHA (a major Turkish news agency), Aksiyon (a leading weekly news magazine), national and international Gülen conferences, Ramadan interfaith dinners, interfaith dialog trips to Turkey from countries around the globe and the many programs sponsored by the Journalists and Writers Foundation. In addition, the Isik insurance company and Bank Asya, an Islamic bank, are affiliated with the Gülen community.

Bank Asya was listed among the Top 500 Banks in the world by London’s Banker magazine. It had joint-venture banking across Muslim Africa, from Senegal to Mali in a strategic cooperation agreement with the Islamic Development Bank’s Senegal-based Tamweel Africa Holding SA. Zaman, which also owns the English-language Today’s Zaman, is the largest daily paper in Turkey.

In 1999, Turkish television aired footage of Gülen delivering a sermon to a crowd of followers in which he revealed his aspirations for an Islamist Turkey ruled by Sharia (Islamic law), as well as the specific methods that should be used to attain that goal. In the secret sermon, Gülen said,

“You must move in the arteries of the system without anyone noticing your existence until you reach all the power centers…until the conditions are ripe, they [the followers] must continue like this…You must wait for the time when you are complete and conditions are ripe, until we can shoulder the entire world and carry it…You must wait until such time as you have gotten all the state power, until you have brought to your side all the power of the constitutional institutions in Turkey…Until that time, any step taken would be too early—like breaking an egg without waiting the full forty days for it to hatch. It would be like killing the chick inside… Now, I have expressed my feelings and thoughts to you all—in confidence…trusting your loyalty and secrecy.”

When Gülen fled to Pennsylvania, Turkish prosecutors demanded a ten-year sentence against him for having “founded an organization that sought to destroy the secular apparatus of state and establish a theocratic state.”

Gülen never left the United States after that, curiously enough, even though the Islamist Erdoğan courts later cleared him in 2006 of all charges. His refusal to return, even after being cleared by a then-friendly Erdoğan Islamist AKP government, heightened the conviction among opponents in Turkey about his close CIA ties.

Gülen was charged in 2000 by the then secular Turkish courts of having committed treason. Claiming diabetes as a medical reason, Fethullah Gülen had managed to escape to a permanent exile in the United States, with the help of some very powerful CIA and State Department friends before his indictment was handed down. Some suspected he was forewarned.

You mean that spook Sibel Edmonds who is pushing that spook Eliot Higgins bullshit Bellingcat website and translation of the Turkish Coup involving the CIA/Gulenists.

Which means maybe it was a false coup afterall arranged from other players?

Mediatized Mendacity: 'Coup' de la Quatrieme Pouvoir?

Day Five: The Phony Coup - The Conspiracy Widens

by Bel Suave

... More evidence supportive of my precis as delivered in this month's previous stories - that Israel and Russia have jointly engineered a real coup in Ankara which this phony one is supposed to hide!

... Throughout the winter, Israel took advantage of the Ankara regime's growing isolation to pressure it into any number of secret concessions. During that interval a secret Israeli diplomatic shuttle to Moscow was also endeavoring to seal an agreement with Moscow which would achieve some relief for the beleaguered mercenary proxies Tel Aviv had working for it's interests in Syria and Iraq. This resulted in the 'surprise' Russian disengagement of March past, which was simply a negotiated pause brokered by Tel Aviv and for which Russia was guaranteed an eventual Turkish come down and no threat of Syrian/Iraqi intervention.

After that interval had successfully shown Israel to be as firmly in control of Ankara as they had claimed, the Russians agreed to apply the needed pressure to force Ankara to submit to every demand from Tel Aviv - including their last card - the removal of the Turkish veto over NATO membership. With a collapsing economy and the vast sources of illicit money having dried up at last, the Ankara regime was forced to purge the more prudent but less compliant Davatoglu as PM, in favor of an Israeli-sponsored puppet who could be counted upon to do as they were told, no questions asked.

By involving India and Russia in its "One Belt, One Road" project, China has dealt a final blow to ambitious New Silk Road initiative, launched by the United States in 2011. China's New Silk Road comprises of a vast number of routes, including the ancient "Silk Road" which connected China and Europe via Central Asia, the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar route, an economic corridor linking China and Pakistan through Kashmir, and a Maritime Silk Road, providing China with seamless access to distant seaports, including New Suez Channel ports in Egypt. It should be also noted that the ongoing unrest in Afghanistan negatively affected Washington's initiative, since China excluded the potentially explosive region from its projects since the very beginning.

Checkmate! U.S. Loses Syria & Turkey; Erdogan Will Visit Putin

Commenting on the results of the recent meeting on Syria in Geneva between Russia, the UN and the US and on the prospects of a possible ending of the Syrian war, Russian political expert Vyacheslav Matuzov suggests that much will now depend on the talks between Russia and Turkey: if they agree, the rebels and their US masters will lose the war.

“Turkish President Erdogan is set to visit Moscow on August 9. Prior to his meeting with President Putin there have already been a number of announcements on the joint economic projects and the readiness to open Turkey for Russian tourists,” Matuzov, former diplomat and an expert in Arab studies told Russia’s Izvestiya newspaper.

“This means that certain political agreements are also being prepared,” he added.

The political analyst further explained that first of all, it could be about closing the Turkish-Syrian border and, as a result, cutting-off of the influx of rebels and arms into war-torn Syria.

Matuzov suggested that the issue might have been already been agreed upon.

If the border is closed, the opposition and their American masters will lose the war in Syria.

In any further intra-Syrian talks, which could be scheduled at the end of August in Geneva, the US and their so-called allies will have no grounds to dictate any conditions.

This point of view has been echoed by Dr. Bassam Abu Abdallah, Director of the Center for Strategic Studies at Damascus University, who told the newspaper that Syria is not counting on the negotiations in Geneva, but rather on a rapprochement between Russia and Turkey.

Real Coup: Fails Horribly

The US has been accused of being behind the attempted military overthrow. Washington is also for the further break up of Syria and for creating Kurdish autonomy.

All the above is unacceptable to Turkey, and so it will try to get closer to Russia and Iran and might make the decision to close its border with Syria which will result in a dramatic change in the balance of powers on the battlefield. Both Russia and Syria are now conducting a large scale humanitarian operations after a successful establishment of humanitarian corridors for the civilians trapped inside Aleppo. The fourth corridor for the passage of fighters in Aleppo is being set up only because the US has not provided Russia with data on the al-Nusra Front terrorist group, which has recently been attempting to merge with other armed opposition groups in Syria.

Obama is also preventing another Saigon-like withdrawal from Afghanistan by not bringing all US soldiers home until he steps down from office.

Aside from the fiat monetary scam and bloodsoaked petrodollar, another significant source of funds for the Nazionist Khazarian Mafia is the “healthcare” industry which registered a whopping $3.09 trillion in 2014, and is projected to soar to $3.57 trillion in 2017, in the US alone. We can avoid using drugs, defeat any viral attack and scaremongering, like the Zika virus, easily by knowing how to build our own comprehensive antiviral system.

I have to retract something I quoted earlier in this thread. The Erdogan/Israel angle does not fit this narrative. Israel is on the outs just like the USA; just like Rome.

Well how about that! Erdogan has jailed Turkish military who worked
with the so-called international coalition (NATO/US/UK) - and the US
DNI James Clapper says he isn't very happy about it. I bet he isn't.

Quote:
Efkan Ala, the interior minister, said more than 18,000 have so far
detained over the attempt to oust President Tayyip Erdogan, while
thousands of government staff are under investigation.

The Director of US National Intelligence, James Clapper, said the purges
were hampering the fight against Isis by sweeping away Turkish officers
who had worked closely with international partners
.

General Joseph Votel, head of US Central Command, said he believed
some of the military figures the international coalition worked with had
been jailed
.

American authorities have been forced to deny they had any involvement
in the coup attempt or prior knowledge, amid anger in Ankara for refusing
to extradite Gulen without evidence.

Richard Moore, the British ambassador to Turkey, told the Hürriyet Daily
News allegations that Britain backed the movement were equally as “silly”.

In the wake of the dishonourable discharge of almost 1,700 personnel,
the Turkish armed forces are undergoing a major restructure seeing
99 colonels promoted to the rank of general and admiral after 40% of
top-ranking officers were dismissed.

The purges have also hit government ministries, schools and universities,
the police, civil service, media and business.

Ok, thanks. I'd no quality info on the Israel angles in all this.
