A former Libyan security official says the father of the alleged Manchester arena bomber was allegedly member of a former al-Qaida-backed group in Libya.

Former Libyan security official Abdel-Basit Haroun said Wednesday he personally knew Ramadan Abedi, the father of Salman Abedi, and that the elder Abedi was a member of the Libyan Islamic Fighting group in the 1990s. The group had links to al-Qaida.

Although the LIFG disbanded, Haroun says the father belongs to the Salafi Jihadi movement, the most extreme sect of Salafism and from which al-Qaida and the Islamic State group hail.

Haroun says Abedi, also known as Abu Ismail, had returned to the Libyan capital of Tripoli.

Ramadan Abedi told The Associated Press in a telephone interview from Tripoli that his family "aren't the ones who blow up ourselves among innocents."

2:35 p.m.

The father of the alleged Manchester arena attacker denies his son is linked to militants or the suicide bombing that killed 22 people.

Ramadan Abedi says he spoke to his 22-year-old son, Salman Abedi, five days ago and he was getting ready to visit Saudi Arabia and sounded "normal."

He said that his son visited Libya a month-and-a -half ago.

The elder Abedi told The Associated Press by telephone from Tripoli: "We don't believe in killing innocents. This is not us."

He said his other son, Ismail, was arrested in England on Tuesday morning.

He said Salman was planning to head from Saudi Arabia to Libya to spend the holy month of Ramadan with family.

Abedi fled Tripoli in 1993 after Moammar Gadhafi's security authorities issued an arrest warrant and eventually sought political asylum in Britain.

Now, he is the administrative manager of the Central Security force in Tripoli.

Is there any real hard proof that people were hurt?

No proof at all.

Apparently, the Coronation Street soap based in Manchester, is a
deep cover and the entire population of Manchester are all actors who
are engaged in pretending that there was a terror bombing.

I heard from a guy who knows a guy who knows another guy that an
ambulance driver who declined to be named said they were scurrying
around with empty ambulances for appearances.

"Don't tell anybody," the ambulance driver said. "There's only a couple
of million people in on this and we're trying to keep it quiet."

Corbyn says Labour will resume campaigning because
terrorism must not 'derail our democratic process'

Jeremy Corbyn has said that Labour will resume campaigning later
this week because terrorism must not “derail our democratic process”.
He said:

The British people are united in their resolve that terrorism will not prevail.
It will not prevent us going about our daily lives, or derail our democratic
process. Resuming democratic debate and campaigning is an essential
mark of the country’s determination to defend our democracy, and the
unity that the terrorists have sought to attack.

Quote:
by Jonathan Freedland | Guardian | 24 May 2017 13.11 BST

Troops are being deployed in the middle of a general election campaign.

That is new and unsettling terrain for British democracy.

Inevitably, it has prompted some to be sceptical, codedly accusing Theresa May of opportunistically ramping up the threat level and the state of public anxiety, all the better to project her as the safe and prime ministerial pair of hands the country needs in fraught times.

Others insist that these are purely operational decisions taken by security chiefs with no thought to politics.

(Meanwhile one former senior police officer suggests to me that the truth might lie in between: with key officials, including those who’ve worked closely with May in the past, taking operational decisions they know will find favour with their political masters. Or as he put it: “They know which side their bread is buttered.”)

Still, you don’t have to detect any questionable motives, still less a conspiracy, to worry about this development and hope it won’t last long. Past precedent suggests that these “critical” periods last just a few days, as the security services catch and “roll up” terrorist cells and networks. For that reason alone, we must hope that this critical state ends quickly.

But there is a less concrete reason too. No one wants this heightened martial state to last so long that we get used to it, that it becomes normalised, as perhaps it has in France.

To be specific, we have to hope there are no troops on the streets of the UK on 8 June. That would feel like an election under siege.

Such a notion is to be rejected for the obvious reason that it’s not true. The horror that was unleashed in Manchester is of a depth that is proving hard to fathom: the deliberate slaughter of children has pierced even those who thought they were becoming inured to the nihilism of these killers. But it has not besieged our democracy; it has not struck our political system with a blow we cannot sustain. We are still standing.

What’s more, the notion of an election under siege, a ballot conducted under the gaze of armed men, also gives these pathetic young men – men so frightened of life that they make a target of little girls – far too much respect. It grants them too much power.

So let’s hope that the soldiers’ work is done by 8 June, and that they can be gone. We need our election to go ahead undisturbed, lest we give these murderers even the scent of victory.

I haven't even seen a news report yet I've been working and sleeping the last 4 days but I suppose using that logic 9/11 must have been done by Bin Ladin.

A friend assures me its another hoax with no bodies, no blood. Mobile phones everywhere yet not one piece of footage showing anything genuine just like the supposed Paris Theatre bombing, with the Announcer telling everyone "I hope you all had a great night"??? (after supposedly 20 killed and 50 injured) - I mean is that true? did that happen?

And of course these 'terrorists' Isis never make any demands, they just do it for the sake of it.

I suppose it could be disinfo agents....

The "Crisis Actors" Meme is an Agency creation.

Through and through.
From the get go.
And continuing to this day.

Once up and running there's plenty of
YouTube useful idiots to keep it going.

If these aren't actors I don't know what are?

The number of attacks especially in the US were they are clearly targetting the 2nd amendment is so absurd in recent years that even Dave Chappelle flags up its pure absurdity.

So if these children are actors, then for their parents,
going to their pretend funerals is going to be a bitch.

Same applies to all these "Crisis Actors" families as well, I suppose:

Michelle Kiss, 45
Olivia Campbell, 15
Martyn Hett, 29
Kelly Brewster, 32
Saffie Rose Roussos, 8
Georgina Callander, 18
John Atkinson, 28
Alison Howe, 45
Lisa Lees, 47
Angelika Klis, 40
Marcin Klis, 42
Nell Jones, 14
Jane Tweddle-Taylor, 51
Sorrell Leczkowski, 14

‘We had to pull nails out of children’s faces’:
Homeless men helped after Manchester blast

You've been played. Moving on....

NYTimes has published details of the police
forensic findings in the Manchester bombing:

Quote:

Found at the Scene in Manchester:
Shrapnel, a Backpack and a Battery

By C. J. CHIVERS MAY 24, 2017

A possible switch used to initiate the explosion, carried in the bomber’s
left hand, was also unusual in a suicide device, in that it appears to have
contained a small circuit board soldered inside one end.

It is not clear from the law enforcement images if the object was a simple
plunger switch, or included a timer or a receiver that could be operated
remotely via radio signal – or some combination, or something else.

Certain details of the bomb further suggest a desire by a bomb-maker to
reduce the risk of a dud.

The authorities found a mangled Yuasa 12-volt, 2.1 amp lead acid battery
at the scene, which is more powerful than batteries often seen in backpack
bombs or suicide vests. The battery, used for emergency lighting and
other applications, can be bought for about $20.

The location of the bomber’s torso, and the apparent absence of fatalities
in a line between the blast site and where his remains landed, was said by
one explosive disposal technician who examined the images to indicate
that the explosive charge was more likely in a backpack than in a vest,
and propelled the bomber away from the blast.

Father of bomber detained in Libya - reports

Ramadan Abedi, the father of the Manchester bomber, was detained by a Tripoli counterterrorism militia during an interview with Reuters reporters on Wednesday, the news agency says.

Several unmarked vehicles carrying heavily armed Rada forces drove up to the family home in the Tripoli suburb of Ayn Zara and detained him, according to Reuters, which added that the group did not give a reason for the arrest.

Ramadan Abedi had been in the process of defending Salman Abedi, who carried out the Manchester attack, during the interview with the agency’s journalists. Another of Ramadan Abedi’s sons, 20-year-old Hashem, was also arrested by the same force on Wednesday over alleged Islamic State links.

The Associated Press also quoted Ahmed bin Salem, a spokesman for the group, as saying that Ramadan Abedi had been taken into its custody for questioning.

Proves NYT is intel to release British intel not yet released to the British public.
Brits are really unhappy with that release of info.
Like this:

Quote:
Adding to the sense of anger in the UK were further leaks from an NBC reporter who quoted US intelligence officials providing other details about the killer.
The reporter Richard Engel of NBC tweeted details not released by the UK. Engel said US intelligence officers told him family members of the the killer, Salman Abedi, had warned UK security officials about him and had described him as dangerous.

Manchester attack: Security services find more
bomb-making materials in hunt for UK terror network

One device blown up and real possibility others are yet to be found,
The Independent has learned

Police and security services have found bomb-making materials which could be primed for imminent attacks in the extensive raids following the Manchester suicide bombing, The Independent has learned.

One suspect device was blown up in a controlled explosion and security sources say that there is a real possibility that there are other materials yet to be found. The law agencies are convinced that a terrorist network had been established to carry out a sustained assault and further arrests are likely in and outside Manchester.

http://ind.pn/2qY3oi9

Here's how deep are that family's links
to the Libya mess and it's Afghan roots:

Quote:
Meanwhile family members of the Manchester suicide bomber Salman Abedi have been arrested in Libya and the UK. The bomber’s father, Ramadan Abedi, was taken away in Tripoli by masked gunmen from a government militia as he was giving a television interview declaring that his dead son was innocent.

Another son living in the city with him, Hashem, was detained soon afterwards, with Libyan officials officials stating that he had links with Isis.

Salman Abedi’s mother, Samia Tabbal, and another son, Ismail, have been arrested in Manchester.

Three arrests were made on Tuesday night, and a further three arrests followed on Wednesday of a man in Wigan, a man in Nuneaton and a woman in Blackley, north Manchester.

The focus is now very much on the Libyan connection. Abedi’s father was a fighter with an Islamist group banned by the UN’s Al-Qaeda Sanctions Committee after the 9/11 attacks in New York. The Independent has learned he once worked for the Gaddafi regime’s security apparatus before turning towards hardline Islam: one of his associates once ran a group called the Islamic Martyrs’ Movement.

The Abedi elder, also known as Abu Ismail al-Obaidi, was a long-term member of the Libyan Islamist Fighting Group (LIFG), which had forged links with al-Qaeda during the war against the Russians in Afghanistan. He left Manchester to take part in the uprising against Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 and currently works with a militia, the Nawasi Brigade, in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.

Abedi had joined LIFG when it was run by Abdelhakim Belhaj who now heads a political party, Al Watan, in Libya and is taking legal action against the British government for the "rendition"of him and his wife to the Libyan regime in which MI6 played a part. This was at a time when Muammar Gaddafi was being presented by the UK as a valued ally and feted by prime minister Tony Blair.

New York times? Reuters? AP?

I would trust Dave Chapelle a lot more first.

Sandy hook proved MSM Stories mean Zero.....

Was Sandy hook real?

Sorry but I cannot simply start and take stuff at face value and forget 20 odd years of false flag attacks and hoax's simply because MSM puts out a few tear jerkers..
